Russell Dorey lives in Hastings. He did a degree at Maidstone School of Art and a postgraduate course at the Royal Academy School. Commissions include the National Trust, and he has sold paintings through Agnews (Old Bond St, London) and exhibited at Royal Academy Summer exhibitions, as well as holding regular one-man shows at the Curwen and New Academy Galleries and at Abbott and Holder in London. His painting 'Shards' appeared on the cover of issue 2 of The Moth.
